Bad Product Placement
Can I Have Some Slim Fast to Wash Down This Ice Cream?
Some sadistic person at the QFC market on Broadway in Seattle thought the perfect place to put all of the diet products would be right over the ice cream section. The last thing you need when you are trying to drop a few pounds by swilling Slim Fast diet shakes is to be glancing right at the Breyers Strawberry, Chocolate and Vanilla combination.
You know, call me a cynic, but my gut reaction here says that it was the smart folks at Breyers Ice Cream that suggested the product placement. Nothing else really makes sense. Nobody goes to the ice cream section, sees the diet products and thinks, "hey, hold the phone here. I could have this tasteless. diet product over ice cream? Wow! It's only slightly more expensive too!"
Not in my family.
