Frozen Garbage Cans

Is it below freezing where you live? This is a great way to turn a garbage can into a dead weight.

When the temperature is going to be well below freezing, fill garbage cans with water. If the can is already full of trash, you're not going to need much water. A 35 gallon trash can has the potential to weigh in at around 275 lbs.

This becomes far more annoying near trash day.

The only issue is where to get the water. Most hoses will be disconnected, so you might need to fill up the cans with 5 gallon buckets. But imagine the person who goes to fill their trash can and finds out they have a mini skating rink.
