Annoying Looping Sound Clips

The holiday season is upon us and once again we are being subjected to an endless stream of Christmas music. It's everywhere. It's annoying and since everyone is pretending it's not about Christmas, the music you hear is just the boring, rote, non-holiday specific music such as, "Here Comes Santa Claus". Going through the malls with the incessant music, you kind of want to hit somebody.

And this is what lead us to this incredible prank idea.

We know the songs are annoying. But what would make them even more annoying is if you only heard one fractured snippet over and over and over. Imagine how fun it would be to subject people to an endless stream of something like:

Annoying Audio Loop Version

It would drive people up the wall. I have this stuck in my head right now and I hate it! When you play it backwards, it's even more annoying!

So this is my gift of prank for you today. Take a sound clip of an annoying piece of music, loop it over and over and play it over a loudspeaker so that nobody can do anything to stop it. You'll drive people nuts! One idea is to burn a CD with the loop, put it in a cheap boom box someplace high, turn the CD on loop and watch the fur fly! You can do this during Christmas, New Years, Valentines Day, Halloween, pick a day and have some fun.

And if you really want to have fun with this, try other sounds like a looping crying baby, a barking dog, that sound clip of George Bush taunting the rebels in Iraq to "bring it on", there is no end to the annoying fun you can have at the expense of anyone within earshot.
