This weekend is Pride Weekend for many cities across the United States and we'd like to take this time to preach a little about ending hate.
There's a lot of hatred in the community about muggles. It seems shameful to mock them simply because they are differently-abled and lacking a wand.
Surely those of us who have studied the advanced arts could find it in our hearts to be respectful and mindful of those who see things in a different light.
Even if they fear that which is different, we can find it in our hearts to forgive that fear and educate them about respect, trust and acceptance.
If we cannot extend the hand of diversity, how can we expect muggles to reach out and accept us as we are as a community?
