Explanation to Mexican UFO sightings

May 18, 2004

A possible explanation

Recently the Mexican Air Force release footage of what they claim is a possible UFO siting. Now the first time I read this I think I thought the same thing you did. Mexican Air Force?

Here's the story:

On May 11, 2004, the Mexican Air Force released footage of 11 unidentified flying objects they videotaped in a surveillance plane over the eastern coastal state of Campeche. The objects were invisible to the naked eye, but they showed up on radar and infrared video cameras. There has been an increasing number of sightings in this area over the years. There was a large scale sighting over Phoenix and Mexico City and other sightings that were not as well known.

The explanation for the latest sighting being offered by scientists is that the 11 objects were actually ball lightning. ball lightning that followed and surrounded the plane and traveled with it for 15 minutes.

That is one explanation. I have another.

A possible explanation is that the Mexicans are secretly working on a new flying car. This could be either unintentional sightings or part of the viral marketing campaign.

It really makes sense if you think about it.

Many of the supposed abductions happen with drunken farmers in rural areas who run illegal stills that make moonshine. I think the abductions are actually Mexican engineers testing one of the features of the flying car, an alcohol detector. Why would someone come up with such a weird device? That's easy. Frat Boys. Every fraternity is going to want to have a flying car with an alcohol detector. This way they can do abductions of booze at breweries, distilleries or just use it to cornhole some drunken farmer.

Remember, you heard it here first.
