Wide World of Pranks: Trades Bucket of steam This is an excellent prank to pull on a new busboy or bag boy. This was one of the favorite pranks a friend of mine used to pull on greenhorns in the restaurant industry.
The prank works best if you pull it in the middle of a busy shift when people are distracted, which means they are more gullible. You walk up to your victim with a since of urgency and tell them you need a bucket of steam. Hurry! If they ask questions, just look them in the face and say, "We're busy! Just do it!" Then take great pleasure in watching them flail about trying to figure out how to get a bucket of steam. You can do this with just about any item and eager new people will always fall for it.
